Responsibilities:
- To identify new publishing opportunities and work together with the Local, Regional and Global Sales, Marketing and Publishing teams to help create, develop and implement a strategic and profitable publishing plan for this rapidly growing market.
- To work with the Local and Regional Sales & Marketing teams and Local and Regional Finance to prepare project Publishing Proposals, complete with detailed cost analysis and sales forecasts, for approval by senior management.
- To work together with the Local, Regional and Global Sales, Marketing and Publishing teams to carry out systematic qualitative and quantitative research into the Indonesia market in order to define future publishing opportunities.
- Work with the Education ministry, and with our distributor partners, on the development, preparation and submission of materials for adoption into the state education sector.
- To source, develop and manage local and regional writing, editorial, design and multimedia production resources where applicable to develop relevant learning and teaching materials.
- To set up, organize and run local Reviewer/Advisory Groups to shape the direction of our new publishing.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; further qualifications in TEFL/TESOL or related areas preferred;
- An in-depth understanding of the current and future trends in the Indonesian and Emerging Markets education market;
- A deep understanding of the publishing process, scheduling and budget management; and strong track record in publishing learning materials; experience in digital publishing a plus
- The skills required to create, develop and implement a long-term publishing strategy that produces sustainable growth;
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate in-house and external editorial resources;
- Exemplary communication skills to interact and work together with the local team, and also represent the local team in regional and global settings;
- The ability to work closely and build relationships with all the relevant functions within the organization including Production, Sales & Marketing, Finance and HR, and externally with key partners;
- A high regard for working in an ethical manner and to be able to embody the core Pearson values

Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for promoting English Language Teaching and K-12 contents (print and digital) and solutions to educators and securing the adoption.
- Your customers’ base will also include libraries and book retailers.
- You will be involved in planning and executing strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets sets by the Sales Manager, to initiate sales calls to establish rapport and identify customers’ needs and deliver one-to-one/group presentation, including introduction and product demonstration of IT/on-line products and matching it to their needs.

Responsibilities:
Administer Sales and Marketing Administrative Tasks:- Provide regular updates on new product and key titles to distributors and key customers
- Support the sales team with sampling processes and tracking
- Update customer listings for purpose catalogue mailing
- Prepare sales related report for the sales reps
- Liaise with Shared Services group to ensure supply and delivery of orders, including collating orders for Customer Service, as well as inventory needs
Organize Sales & Marketing Activities:
- Coordinating seminar, event and teacher’s training
- To follow up with the participants on their attendance
- To prepare the marketing collateral to support the event
- To work with the hotel/conference center on the venue requirement
Direct Marketing:
- To do telemarketing to new customers to introduce our product & services
- To visit schools to follow up the calls when necessary
- To mail brochures, flyer, catalogs on new titles to customers
Requirements:
- Diploma or above
- Some sales experience, preferable from Publishing industry
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Class A driving license
- Independent and self-driven
